The 2 pin connector is a push-pull self-locking connector. It will automatically lock when inserted into the camera. It is impossible to pop off. You should pinch the top of the 2 pin connector, which will easily pull it out, rather than pull out by pinching directly the cable or the bottom of the connector.
The Min length is about 15inches (38cm). The Max length is about 31.5 inches (80cm).
